Elba Lake and Lodge: Fish Stocks
Elba lake holds an impressive stock of big carp Approximately 90 fish in 5.5 acres with a lake average of 35 pounds.There are two known 60 plus fish, the biggest being a 63 pound mirror and there are eight fish in excess of 50 pounds. These fish were all selected for growth potential and are in pristine condition. There are also pike to 25 pounds and grass carp to 50 pounds, together with a stock of silver fish, but no poisson chats or crayfish as the lake is spring-fed.
