Etang de Chavaignac

Etang de Chavaignac is an impressive 15 acre complex set behind private gates and surrounded by beautiful countryside and wildlife. It is located in the commune of Peyrilhac in the department of Haute Vienne and is only a short 15 minute drive from the historic town of Oradour sur Glane and 15 minutes from the beautiful town of Saint Junien with it's shops supermarkets and many fine restaurants.

The lake is 9 acres with 7 immaculately graveled double swims, three of which have electricity points. The lake contains 240 hand selected common and mirror carp. There are two fish in excess of 70 pounds, the largest being 74 pounds in 2020. There is also a good head of fish in the 60 pound bracket.

The lake is available on a lake exclusive, weekly basis only for four anglers. An additional angler can also join the group for a supplement as detailed on our price list.

There is a well maintained track around the lake which gives access and parking at the back of any of the lakes seven swims.
