Iktus Ruffaud: Fishery Rules

Iktus Ruffaud
  • All anglers must report to reception on arrival
  • All vehicles must be parked in the car park provided
  • Maximum 4 h type markers per swim
  • Three rods per angler - a fourth is possible at a 50 euro per week surcharge
  • Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times
  • No BBQs or fires on the ground - off ground BBQs are permitted and can be rented at the venue
  • No lure fishing
  • Only green, brown or black bivvies, brolleys or shelters
  • Bait boats are allowed
  • Electric motors and echo sounders are permitted (boats can be rented on site and life jackets must be worn at all times)
  • Barbless or microbarbed hooks only, maximum size 2
  • No braid or leadcore
  • All rigs must provide for the safe release of the lead in case of breakage
  • Minimum unhooking mat length 1.2 metres
  • No Particles are allowed on the venue
  • Please take all photos quickly in the interest of the fish and ensure they are returned as soon as possible
  • No sacks or floating retention slings - fish must not be retained
  • Please ensure a suitable carp disinfectant is used
  • Minors under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times
  • The management reserve the right to ask people to leave in the event of drunkenness or misadventure with no refund and French law will prevail at all times.
  • No swimming
  • Keep noise to a minimum and respect others
  • No retaining carp caught during the night or day for photos in the morning. You will be asked to leave if you do this
  • If you notice any fish in distress or have a problem with any fish caught, please let us know
  • Minimum 18lb and 0.30mm diameter line to be used. No braided mainline except on marker rods.
  • The fishery accepts no responsibility or liability in the event of accidents or losses whilst on the complex.
  • At the end of your stay, it is strictly forbidden to throw the rest of your bait into the lake

COVID- 19 Announcement

COVID- 19 Announcement for Armfield Angling Limited customers as of 17th March 2020

The venues are forced to close until further notice, at this stage it seems essential for everyone to remain at home for the good of all.

It is important to understand that for the coming weeks the priority is the health and safety of our valued clients. If you have a booking up to 28th March to 4th April 2020 we will endeavour to rearrange your trip without charge providing both your deposit and balance have been received. As 4th April approaches we will review the situation, if the imposed confinement period is extended we will contact by email those customer due from 4th April to 18th April 2020 and again endeavour to rearrange your trip.

We will continue to review on a fortnightly basis it is imperative that balances for all trips are paid by their due date to ensure any alternative can be made for you on your booked venue.

In the case you do not wish to rearrange and enjoy your fishing holiday we urge you to contact your holiday/travel insurance company for any refunds. As you can imagine we are currently working extremely hard to ensure customers can still enjoy their forthcoming visits.
