The Golden Carp Lake: Venue facilities

The Golden Carp Lake lodge

The lake provides the lodge facilities for use by all its guests.

The well appointed utility area provides the perfect area to prepare and eat food overlooking the lake it has a gas griddle hob, American fridge freezer, microwave, sink, kettle, toaster, cookware, glasses, plates and cutlery, as well as widescreen TV, shower (which is a wet room, adapted for persons of reduced mobility), toilet and a separate ladies’ toilet. There is also wi fi, ample electrical sockets (a PS3 is available on request).

There's even a plunge pool outside for those fancying a quick dip!

Food Package

A food package is available for 4 persons minimum or lake exclusive bookings. This comprises full continental or English breakfast and main evening meal with soft drink. Please specify at time of booking.

Swimming Pool Rules

We ask all anglers and guests to read and follow these rules with regards to the swimming pools:

  • Use of the swimming pools is AT YOUR OWN RISK, and we decline any responsibility for any personal injury that may occur from misuse of this, or any other of our facilities.
  • Minors must be supervised by an adult at all times while on site, particularly if using the swimming pools.
  • No food, glass, or cigarettes in or around the pools.
  • Swimwear only in the pools.
  • Please wipe your feet before getting into the pool.
  • Pool skimmer nets are provided at the Lodge and Cabin, please ensure that you remove debris (grass, bugs, etc.) on a daily basis.

COVID- 19 Announcement

COVID- 19 Announcement for Armfield Angling Limited customers as of 17th March 2020

The venues are forced to close until further notice, at this stage it seems essential for everyone to remain at home for the good of all.

It is important to understand that for the coming weeks the priority is the health and safety of our valued clients. If you have a booking up to 28th March to 4th April 2020 we will endeavour to rearrange your trip without charge providing both your deposit and balance have been received. As 4th April approaches we will review the situation, if the imposed confinement period is extended we will contact by email those customer due from 4th April to 18th April 2020 and again endeavour to rearrange your trip.

We will continue to review on a fortnightly basis it is imperative that balances for all trips are paid by their due date to ensure any alternative can be made for you on your booked venue.

In the case you do not wish to rearrange and enjoy your fishing holiday we urge you to contact your holiday/travel insurance company for any refunds. As you can imagine we are currently working extremely hard to ensure customers can still enjoy their forthcoming visits.
