We arrived at the lake full of enthusiasm and expectancy on the Saturday morning. We were not to be disappointed. Paul had given us the guided tour of the lake and its wonderful facilities and we were all soon fishing. Seven of us had made the trip and by the end of our week four of us had all caught personal bests, testament to the quality of the fishing at Ribiere. What more could you ask for? Cheers Paul, we will be back.

This is one of the Premier French big fish venues to watch, big commons and beautifully marked, huge dark mirrors. Scenic surroundings & friendly knowledgeable staff. We have already booked the lake for the following year.

With the weather changing it's mind more time than my wife on what it wants to do, the fishing was always going to be average at best! However an average week on Ribiere is most peoples idea of a session of a lifetime. With a dozen fish to mid 50's it was a truly memorable week and can't wait until later in the year to return. Whether you are doing a trip with your mate or a fishing holiday with family, the facilities and accommodation are what you would associate with a top class hotel. The real icing on the cake though is the unconditional welcome you will receive from Paul and Carman. It is their kindness, attitude and professionalism that makes the trip one to remember for a lifetime.

Myself and Steve Briggs stayed with Paul at Ribiere in March and had a wonderful week. The fishing was great and the hospitality of the team was fantastic. We would recommend a trip with Armfield Angling to anyone, and will certainly be going back as soon as there's a free slot!

Had an outstanding time at Domaine De La Ribiere. We caught plenty of big carp in hard conditions. We had 37 fish in total, which in November is the stuff of dreams. What stood out on my trip was the way Paul Armfield and Carmen Marsh looked after us - nothing was a problem for them and Paul's knowledge of the lake gave me a great advantage. I would recommend Ribiere to any serious angler wishing to beat his or her PB. In all was the trip of a life time and I will be returning!
